About K-Tape

K-tape, or Kinesiology tape, is a fabric and elastic body tape that is used to enhance the function of different tissues and systems within the body.  K-tape can help to provide feedback to your brain through the receptors in your skin to help rebalance weak muscles and postural insufficiency. 

K-Tape Helps:

  • provide non-compressive support and pain relief.
  • ​reduce swelling
  • speed up recovery from injury or surgery
  • ​increase circulation and lymphatic flow​​
  • prevent and treat some sprains, strains and tendonitis
  • treat postural and muscle imbalances
  • reduce muscle spasms
  • provide support and pain relief during pregnancy
With injury, fluids can sometimes build up faster than our lymphatic systems can clear the area. This inflammation not only prevents the oxygen and nutrients needed for healing to reach the injury site but also causes pain. K-tape helps to create "space" that helps to improve blood and lymphatic flow which then helps to alleviate inflammation, decrease pain and allows oxygen to better reach the injured area, and to then help speed up healing. 
K-Tape can be applied at any stage of healing; from acute to chronic to rehab and can even prevent injury during high-impact activity. K-Tape can be worn for 3-5 days per application.​
