Dr. Shehzer Tahir, Chiropractor
Dr. Shehzer Tahir was born in Mississauga, Ontario. He spent over a decade in New Brunswick, where he completed his undergraduate degree at Mount Allison University in Biology and Biochemistry. He is a true sports lover and has been involved in many community sport organizations (football, soccer, swimming, ultimate frisbee, rugby, basketball, weight training). Following his time at Mount Allison, Dr. Shehzer attended New York Chiropractic College
earning his Doctor of Chiropractic and graduated from McMaster University’s Medical Acupuncture program.
Dr. Shehzer practices an evidenced-based, patient-centered approach that focuses on the patient’s overall health and quality of life. Treatment protocol is individualized to that patient and focuses on relieving pain, gaining strength, facilitating healing, and preventing further complications. He utilizes several treatment methods including diversified manipulation techniques, mobilization, and soft tissue therapy to address and treat his patients’ conditions.
Dr. Shehzer also frequently employs modalities including acupuncture, interferential current therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, and orthotics. He also advocates active and self-directed care through supervised and independent rehabilitation exercise protocols. Dr. Shehzer encourages his patients to make improvements to their health by focusing on stretching, exercise, diet, sleep, and ergonomics. He enjoys treating all conditions/patient populations and is an inclusive healthcare provider.
When Dr. Shehzer is not in the clinic, he enjoys going to the gym, spending time outdoors, traveling and spending time with his family. He values educating and building trustworthy relationships with his patients, aiming to help them improve their quality of life.

Dr. Anne Beatty, Chiropractor
Dr Beatty has been practicing for 17 years in a small country practice and is joining our team. She graduated from CMCC after completing her undergrad at the University of Guelph in Human Kinetics. Dr Beatty's practice focus has always been about finding the root of the problem and creating a plan of care individualized to each person's condition. Her practice style varies depending on what a patient needs. She can perform gentle adjustments using percussive tools, Diversified manual adjustments, drop table adjustments, soft tissue treatments, medical acupuncture, ultrasound, laser, and electrotherapy treatments.
Her specialties include:

• Sciatica
• TMJ (jaw) dysfunction
• Extremity adjustments
• Plantar fasciitis
• Creating personalized exercise program
In her spare time, between work and being a mom, Dr Beatty aspires to be an aerialist and
teaches Lyra hoop fitness classes at a local studio.
