• Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your 1st appointment to fill out a health history form

• The RMT will then discuss with you treatment details and the type of treatment you are looking for as well as your health history. This would be a great opportunity to ask questions or discuss important health issues  if you are uncertain.

• During this time, the therapist will inform you of all the information you will need prior to your treatment. This is the informed consent.

• After giving consent for your treatment, the therapist will leave the room to give you privacy and wash their hands.  You will undress to where you are comfortable.  Please keep in mind, the treatment is most beneficial working directly on the skin, however, we can also modify the treatment if requested.

• You will be covered by a sheet at ALL times.  Only the area being worked on will be exposed to the therapist.  ie. one arm or leg at a time.

• It is very important that you discuss any concerns you have with your therapist.  Communication is key to a successful treatment.

• After you redress, and the therapist returns, he/she may suggest to you some home care and/or exercises that may be beneficial.  Feel free to ask any questions.

• After payment,  you will receive a receipt in which you may submit to your extended health benefit insurance company (if you have benefits for reg'd massage therapy) for reimbursement.  Please note the clinic does not deal with your insurance company directly for reimbursments
